Daniel Lawson - New Modbury CC Games Record

MCC GAMES RECORD - DANIEL LAWSON 260 GAMES

Congratulations to Daniel Lawson who today will break the club record of total number of games played for the Modbury Cricket Club. Daniel will play game 260 today and we wish him the best of luck.

The record of 259 games was previously held by club legend Murry Duthie Jr (Murray Duthie) and former player Jason Kohlmorgen (Jason Kohl).

Join in the Fun! - Cricket Blast Registrations are Open!

Cricket Blast is an energetic & fun program for children aged 7-9 to play some cricket and make some new friends! 

Modbury Cricket Club will be running a Cricket Blast session at Modbury Oval on Mondays 5-6pm as an 8 week program in Term 4 or a 14 week program across Term 4 & Term 1!

Cricket Registrations Opening Soon!

With Summer right around the corner, keep an eye out for cricket registrations which will be opening soon!

We also have Cricket Blast registrations currently open for children aged 7-9!

Brett MacTavish - National Community Cricket Award

The awards keep coming for one of our junior coaches, Brett MacTavish!

At the National Community Cricket Awards announced earlier this week, Brett has received the 2023/24 National Highly Commended (Second Place) for Community Cricket Coach of the Year!

Brett has been and continues to be a fabulous role model to those he has coached during his time at our club. His passion and love of the game shines through when he engages with everyone.

2023/2024 Presentation Awards

And that's a wrap for season 2023/24! With both the senior and junior presentations done the season is now officially over. Congratulations to all the players and volunteers who have won end-of-season awards.

Thank you to all the players, coaches and volunteers who have made this a very enjoyable season. We look forward to seeing you all again next season.

Woolworths Cricket Blast is Back

Woolworths Cricket Blast is back for the year! This year, the Modbury Cricket Club is running the program on Tuesday 5-6pm, and Saturday 9-10am at the Modbury Oval.

New Coach + Senior Coordinator

The Modbury Cricket Club committee is excited to announce the appointment of our coach and senior coordinator for the 2023/2024 season. 

Daniel Lawson returns as the coach, after taking on the role of coach last year, and Isaac has stepped up into the role of senior coordinator.

We look forward to having these two continue to build up Modbury Cricket Club throughout this season.
